            Sub:- Comments on Revised RR-of JTO 2014.

            Ref:-  Letter No. 5-32/2013- Pers IV Dtd 17^th Jan.2014.

            Respected Sir,

            Vide above referred letter BSNL Corporate Office called for the comments

on the proposal of revised RR for the post of JTO (T). The comments were called from the

Various Associations by 27/01/2014.

            Our forum represents about 200 Screen Test qualified & Trained Officiating JTO’s

Of Maharashtra Circle, we offer our following comments on the RR Circulated by BSNL, since we

are covered in column-11 of Schedule to JTO RR 2014 under 50% internal Quota to be filed

by absorption as given in serial No.1

             Note 3 of the Schedule of JTO RR2014 indicates how the seniority on

Appointment in the cadre of JTO will be fixed to those who cleared LICE or Directly recruited officials. However how seniority of the Screen Test qualified Officiating JTO who passed the Screen Test in 2000 and working as Officiating JTO’s after completion of Phase-I Training

For more than 8 Years will be fixed is not mentioned in this Para.

           

We apprehend this may result in unnecessary litigation about the fixation of seniority.

            Therefore our Forum suggests that suitable modification to Note-3 to be made as per

The approved proposal at Para 11 of discussion held on 02/01/2001 in the meeting with Three Federations Presided by CMD BSNL regarding Terms and Conditions for Absorption of Group C & D Staff in BSNL and Circulated vide Letter No. BSNL-4/ SR/2000 Dtd. 01/01/2001.

           

As per above cited approved proposal the seniority of Screen Test qualified & Phase I Training completed Officiating JTO’s, who had already been qualified in 2000 Exam.

           Would rank senior to those Gr. C TTA’s who appeared in Promotional Departmental Exam, in the year 2013 & qualified later.

           

We request you to consider incorporating our proposal on lines of the agreement with The Three Federations entered in to by BSNL at the time of our absorption in BSNL.
